Her eyes darted along the pages of the book swiftly, hardly reading a word before she flitted onto the next sentence in expectation, her heart beat started to rise, her jaw fell open…
“Lunch!” Mother called.
She continued quickly chasing the words along the page without the slightest dawdle, but was interrupted more urgently, and with a sigh, slowly, unhappily placed the book down to eat a hurried lunch to hopefully return.
Hello, my name is Meggie. I am fifteen year old homeschooler, Aussie, reader, spinner of tales, Christian, rebelutionary, photographer, sister, daughter, craftier and homemaker. This is my blog about my many writing, reading and crafting success, pitfalls, and ideas. I mainly enjoy reading and writing, though I also enjoy a spot of web designing. I like creating blog backgrounds and blog buttons. As I write about all these different subjects I do apologise for any ecstatic posts that seem rather overwhelming, but I pray that through this blog you will be encouraged to get out there and release your inner Anne of Green Gables, pick up some fabric and sew something, find some neat scrapbooking paper and start creating some cards, or even dare pick up a pencil and dare to write…Perhaps we can sharpen and amend our tale telling together.
As you read/ comment on my blog please keep Philippians 4:8 in mind: Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue, and if there is anything praiseworthy- meditate on these things. I would love to hear everyone’s feedback on each post, it is a great encouragement, and I do not miss one. And please dare to advise me as I keep on the path of becoming a writer, or add your thoughts and comments , it is most appreciated.
Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead. I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. – Philippians 3:12-14.
